Just Working, Might Counter Protest Tonight

Tuesday, August 28, 2007

Just had a free moment. Work work work, gotta love it.

So tonight there is a protest by the antiwar crowd. I might head down to the Alamo to counter protest some, though I really need to continue working on ChristieAndPeter.com. I'll see if there is a FReep scheduled or not. If there is, I'll probably go. I know the last FReep I went to out in Crawford was quite fun.

Until later, adios.

Pictures of The House... Getting There...

So the home is coming along quite nicely. Forms are up, sewage plumbing is in. All that is left is the kitchen sink! HA! I wish! Soon though, very soon.

Finally!

I finally got the picture upload to work in Word 2007. Blogs… here I come!

Homosexuality and Where It Leads

Monday, August 15, 2005
The problem is, life is not this simple. People never stop at the bedroom door...
The morality envelope gets pushed more and more each day, and it is inevitable that at some point one of two things is going to happen.

1.
The people en mass will not take it anymore and standup against those who are against their morality.

2.
Christ comes back. The end.

Morality certainly cannot be legislated, but at the same time, why do I have to have MY rights infringed upon? Why do I have to accept their behavior? Do we just "tolerate" the behavior of serial killers? Rapist? Pedophiles? Polygamists? Thieves? Liars? Adulterers?

NO!

We have a set of moral values which we as a society have deemed acceptable and unacceptable. For almost two millennia, homosexuality was an act that many men (and women) chose in defiance of their society. The last great society to embrace and tolerate the behavior crumbled soon after (the Romans)
It is a sinful act (just as the other acts listed above) and cannot be tolerated, and will not be tolerated. Baton down the hatches everyone, for the firestorm is just about to begin...

Outlet

Tuesday, July 27, 2004

I have decided an outlet would be a good thing to have... so, this blog was born. My true identity may be known to some, but to others, it may be a curiosity. Needless to say, if you know me, hello again! And if not, nice to meet ya! Anywho, enough with the formalities, down to business. For those that do not know, I am a conservative, thru and thru!  Not a card carrying republican, but a conservative. I believe you need to choose your leaders based upon what they believe, and if those beliefs are in line with your own. NEVER, under any circumstances, pull the lever for a certain party, without taking the time to even LOOK at the candidates.  If you do that, you more than likely do not even look at the issues, let alone how a particular person stands on that issue. Our beliefs are what define us, and if we do not pay attention to them, we will be washed away in the gray nothingness of our society. Get out there and vote, and vote the person that believes in what you believe, not what they are called.

Our economy is not in trouble, it is far from it. If the economy was in such a shamble, people would be standing in soup lines wrapped for blocks in inner cities. People would be jumping from buildings due to the lack of funds and the devastation incurred upon them by whose know what evil forces. The economy is good. Millions, if not billions of dollars are spent daily on various products, goods, and services.  Few people realize how good they actually have it. Most of our countries "poor" own a house or rent an apartment, own at least one television set, and own at least one vehicle. Just because you do not have the exact number of luxuries as say... Bill Gates does not mean you are classified as "poor". Don't get me wrong, I feel for people that are having a hard time in life, and are down on their luck, but I feel that if someone puts there mind at something, they could easily achieve something greater.

Life for anyone can be better, they just have to put their minds to it. Our economy is not the problem with our country. Our country only has a few major problems, the biggest of witch, is the lack of a focus on God in our country. God is the only being that could possibly protect our country. He is the one that instituted our country in the first place. I only pray our country will be reignited with love for Him, and will focus their attention on attaining His purity and love.

That’s all for now, see ya!
